About

The Manitoba Indigenous Cultural Education Centre (MICEC) has provided programs and services since 1975. It is centrally located in Winnipeg’s historic North Point Douglas neighbourhood. They are home to The People’s Library, the largest publicly accessible collection of Indigenous resources in Manitoba, with over 14,000 books, videos and audio recordings and The Heritage Collection, which consists of clothing, artwork, sculptures, carvings and archaeological artifacts. MICEC regularly provides cultural education programming to all interested.
