Ninastako Centre

For over 50 years, Ninastako Cultural Centre has provided programs that promote the sharing, preservation and celebration of Blackfoot culture. Located in southern Alberta on the Blood Reserve, Ninastako offers a range of programs, including; Blackfoot singing/drumming, dancing and sewing classes (both on the reserve and in local schools), tours for designated historic sites (on the reserve), Blackfoot storytelling (in the schools and on a local radio station), and cultural camps during the summer. Fundraising efforts continue for a new facility, which would house Ninastako’s extensive collection of artifacts and teaching resources.
