ILC Funding Recipients
The Indigenous Languages and Cultures (ILC) Program, funded by Canadian Heritage, supports First Nations communities in reclaiming, revitalizing, maintaining, and strengthening their languages and cultural knowledge. As the Regionally Designated Organization (RDO) for Ontario, First Nations Confederacy of Cultural Education Centres (FNCCEC) works in collaboration with communities and program partners to deliver this funding and support locally driven language initiatives.
The following projects represent the meaningful work taking place across Ontario through ILC funding. These initiatives demonstrate the strength of community leadership and the ongoing commitment to ensuring Indigenous languages continue to live, grow, and be shared with future generations.
